IDEAA Partner Awarded $50k for New Makerspace Model

The Glick Fund awarded $50k to the Maker Youth Foundation to build a new makerspace at the Carriage House East Apartments. We congratulate the Maker Youth Foundation, and First Maker Space on securing initial funding to start a new model that will directly serve the community at home, and where it is most needed. One of the apartments will be converted into a makerspace. Programming and career pathways from the Maker Youth Foundation and other IDEAA Partners will be made available to residents and neighbors of this community.
